Cohen, Weiss and Simon LLP Represents Workers United in Starbucks Union Campaign

Cohen, Weiss and Simon LLP is representing Workers United in more than a half dozen pending representation petitions for Starbucks stores around the NYC metro area.  To date, the company has largely entered into stipulated election agreements over these petitions and the first elections and vote counts are expected at the beginning of April.  Partner Cristina Gallo was quoted by Law360.com regarding these agreements, stating, “The recent election stipulations are a welcome development in this campaign and suggest to us that Starbucks is realizing the limitations of its legal strategy.”
