Cohen, Weiss and Simon LLP Announces New Harassment/Discrimination Prevention and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Practice

Cohen, Weiss and Simon LLP (CWS) is pleased to announce an expansion of the former Sexual Harassment Prevention Practice to address all issues related to discrimination, harassment and diversity, equity and inclusion (“DEI”). Responding to our client’s increased interest in facilitated discussions on issues of race, sexual orientation, privilege and social responsibility, we are now offering DEI workshops as a complement to our traditional advice and counsel activities. This practice is led by Melissa S. Woods who spent the first decade of her career litigating civil rights cases at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. and the New York Attorney General’s Office. “We are excited by the expansion of this practice area and the opportunity to offer our current and new clients Melissa’s expertise on DEI issues,” said Susan Davis, Chair of the Firm’s Management Committee.
