Immediate Placement for ERISA/Employee Benefits Summer 2022 Student Law Clerks
Cohen, Weiss and Simon LLP is looking for student Law Clerks to join our ERISA/employee benefits team in the Summer of 2022. Applicants should be current law school students with strong research and writing skills. Coursework in labor, employment and/or ERISA/employee benefits law is preferred. Labor union, employee benefit and/or journal experience is a plus. Compensation is $30/hour.
Work includes research and writing relating to administrative and operational issues that our clients face; ERISA, tax and other regulatory compliance; fiduciary issues; investment issues; plan design and drafting; plan qualification; communications; benefit plan-related litigation, including contribution enforcement, withdrawal liability, alter ego cases, post-judgment enforcement, benefit claims and fiduciary breach cases.
