Representative Highlights

  • Wright v. Stern – The District Court for the Southern District of New York approved a classwide settlement in excess of $20 million dollars to African-American class members denied equal treatment by the New York City Parks Department regarding pay and promotions.

  • Thompson v. HUD – After trial, the District Court of Maryland found HUD violated the Fair Housing Act with respect to its practices affecting public housing residents within the City of Baltimore and ultimately approved broad relief in the form of an enhanced housing voucher program providing opportunities for class members to access housing in areas with improved housing, school and employment opportunities.
