Kayla Morin joined the firm in October 2024 and practices in the area of labor law.
Prior to joining Cohen, Weiss and Simon LLP, Ms. Morin worked at a plaintiffs’-side, employment law firm, where she represented individuals who experienced discrimination and retaliation in the workplace. Ms. Morin also served as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Diane Gujarati of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Ms. Morin is a proud former member of the United Auto Workers, Legal Services Staff Association 2320. Her first job out of law school was at a legal services organization based in the Bronx, New York, where she went on strike with her colleagues to demand fair pay for the organization’s legal workers.
Ms. Morin graduated from Yale Law School in 2020. During law school, Ms. Morin worked as a student-attorney in the Veterans Legal Services Clinic, Housing Clinic, and Reproductive Rights and Justice Project clinic. She also served as an editor of the Yale Law Journal.
She graduated summa cum laude in 2017 from Northwestern University, where she was also a member of the varsity volleyball team.
