Susan Davis will appear on a panel presentation titled NLRB Update – What’s Hot and What’s Not? at the American Bar Association’s Eighth Annual Labor & Employment Law Conference in Los Angeles, CA, which will be held from November 5-8, 2014. The presentation will address recent rulemaking and case developments at the NLRB. Stephen B. Moldof will appear on a panel presentation titled Alternate Forms of Union Representation: Myth or Reality in North America. His presentation will address the potential arrival of work councils in North America, what they mean for traditional unions and for North American employers, their compatibility with the NLRA, how they operate, and whether this form of representation could be adopted for use in North America. The presentation will also address other forms of collective worker activity and issues of international framework agreements and neutrality agreements.
