Jani K. Rachelson and Lisa M. Gomez will present at sessions at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans’ 64th Annual Employee Benefits Conference on October 14-17, 2018 in New Orleans, LA.  Ms. Rachelson will participate in a panel on “Plugging Leaks in Pension Plan Administration” that discusses possible issues with plan design and administration and how to address those leaks, as well as a panel on “Ask the Professionals” in which participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of attorneys and administrators. Ms. Gomez will present on “The Fund Office as an Employer” discussing compliance with employment laws and regulations, minimizing exposure to liability on discrimination and harassment issues, EEOC issues, benefit plan issues for the fund as an employer, and discipline and termination.
