Hiram M. Arnaud joined the firm in 2015.
He practices primarily in the areas of labor and employment law where he represents unions in litigation and arbitration proceedings and internal governance issues and individual employees in wage and hour litigation, among other matters.
Prior to joining Cohen, Weiss and Simon LLP, Mr. Arnaud was a litigation associate at a large firm in New York. From 2016 to 2017, he left the firm to serve as a law clerk to the Honorable Dora L. Irizarry, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He returned to the firm in May 2017.
Mr. Arnaud graduated from Cornell Law School in 2013, where he was the Managing Editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. During law school, Mr. Arnaud participated in the Cornell Law School Labor Law Clinic. As a student, Mr. Arnaud’s Note on various legal issues affecting Puerto Ricans was selected for publication by the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Mr. Arnaud graduated magna cum laude from Fordham University in 2010 and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Mr. Arnaud was named as a Rising Star for Employment and Labor Law on the New York Metro 2018 Annual List of Super Lawyers magazine.
Mr. Arnaud is fluent in Spanish.
